Michael van Niekerk graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1997 and registered as a Professional Land Surveyor in 1998. He has over 20 years' experience in the Survey Profession,including his previous roles as partner of Laubscher, Slabbert & Brink (Professional Land Surveyors and Town and Regional Planners, Welkom) and Chief Surveyor for Seidlitz Engineering (Canada). In 2015 he began operating independently and through this IM Geomatics was formed and formally founded in 2017.
